Dr. Hannah Sanders grew up in Morrison, OK. She attended Oklahoma State University, and in 2017, she received her Bachelor of Science in Microbiology with a minor in Ethical Leadership. In 2021, she earned her Doctor of Optometry from Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry where she was awarded the Golden Retinoscope for Outstanding Clinician.
Dr. Sanders completed residency training in Ocular Disease and Refractive/Ocular Surgery at Oklahoma Medical Eye Group. Dr. Sanders is a member of the
Oklahoma Association of Optometric Physicians, and served as student liaison on the board of that organization. Along with being an active member of the American Optometric Association, she served as President of Optometric Student Association and is a 2022 Candidate for Fellowship of the American Academy of Optometry.
Dr. Sanders has lectured locally at NSU College of Optometry, Oklahoma Association of Optometric Physicians, Triad Symposium 2022, and presented at Academy of Optometry, and Heart of America in Kansas City.
Dr. Sanders has been on mission trips in Honduras and volunteers time for Giving Sight Day along with OMEG physicians. Outside of the clinic, she enjoys all things Oklahoma State (go Pokes!), traveling, and outdoor recreation.
