Dr. Adelaide Priester (Heidi) has been on the forefront of ophthalmology and ophthalmic surgery in Eastern Oklahoma since her career began. Her undergraduate studies began at the University of Iowa where she graduated with Honors. She then attended medical school at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine and was a member of Sigma Sigma Phi Honors Fraternity. She was awarded an internship at Tulsa Regional Medical Center, followed by acceptance to the very competitive ophthalmology residency program there. She is Board Certified in Ophthalmology and Otorhinolaryngology and has participated in numerous research studies as an investigator. Dr Priester has served as adjunct faculty and lecturer for Tulsa Regional Residency as well as Oklahoma State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery.
Dr. Priester has served as Medical Director at multiple hospitals and surgery centers, and joined OMEG as part of the original team of physicians. As a leader in ophthalmology, Dr. Priester continues to be on the cutting edge of technology. Dr. Priester offers laser assisted cataract surgery and is certified on both the CATALYS and LensX Femtosecond Lasers. Dr. Priester was one of the first ophthalmologists to perform LASIK and PRK in Oklahoma and is certified on the iLASIK platform offering blade free custom LASIK surgery. She is certified to perform Visian ICL surgery for moderate to high myopia and astigmatism, Refractive Lens Exchange, and offers multiple surgical and laser treatments for glaucoma.
Dr. Priester enjoys traveling, horses, and time with her husband and family.
